Jen got started in the downsizing business, when her local church was asking for someone to help a man who was blind, and recently widowed to transition into retirement living. Very nervous, not ever having a relationship with a blind person, but wanting to help, she got to work, and while helping this gentleman, she realized this was a passion. The older gentleman commented that it was like having his "Newfie Sisters" over to help, and the name was born. Jen's downeast, newfie humor, and honest work ethic is the reason for success today.
