In 2021, Mulberry's Oven was formed after the owners purchased the business, Ella's Oven from the previous owners. Founded in 2009, Ella's Oven was a 'must stop' for wood oven pizza at the Newmarket Farmer's Market. Mulberry's Oven has made their home base at the Newmarket Farmers' market and every Saturday, in season, residents from Newmarket and surrounding area line up to get sizzling hot, wood fired pizza on Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., May to October. Mulberry's pizza is now available at Old Flame Brewing Co. on Main St. in Newmarket every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights - May to October). By popular demand, Mulberry's Oven now serves at all types events including: golf tournaments, soccer events, neighbourhood block parties, corporate luncheons, employee appreciation days, sales meetings, client relationship building, private parties, fundraising events, industrial/job site catering, Jack & Jill parties, weddings, divorce parties, and birthday parties. Mulberry's Oven is locally owned and operated; they employs 17 people - all from Newmarket.
